School Ambassadors
What Does it Mean to be a School Ambassador?
Being a school ambassador means being in charge of representing FFF NYC at your school by promoting FFF NYC’s events and content. As a school ambassador, you will...
1. Be given a folder of promotional materials (including event descriptions, the sign-up forms, flyers, etc) for each event.
2. Organize your school’s train route to the march, to speak with your school's administration regarding walkout policy, and to encourage classmates and peers to attend global strikes.
3. Be responsible for reposting and interacting with our content on platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, and our website.
4. Join our Slack to communicate with other school representatives and possibly collaborate on strikes or other projects.
Eligibility
1. You must be a student in or around New York City (ranging from middle school to college).
2. You must be able to use Slack (our communication platform).
3. No experience with climate activism/advocacy is required- just a passion!
4. You must be respectful towards everyone in our team. Any forms of discrimination or bigotry are strictly prohibited, and will prompt a reevaluation of your status in our organization.
