What Does it Mean to be an FFF Member?
Being an FFF member is a flexible role, which consists of the tasks you have the capacity to take on. As an FFF member, you may...
1. Join weekly online planning meetings on Tuesdays after school.
2. Attend weekly in-person planning meetings on Sundays.
3. Work on specific tasks (e.g., writing the newsletter, posting on social media, etc).
4. Attend weekly climate strikes on Fridays outside of City Hall after school.
5. Work with local organizations.
Eligibility
1. You must be under the age of 25 and live in the NYC area.
2. You must be able to use Slack (our communication platform).
3. No experience with climate activism/advocacy is required- just a passion!
4. You must be able to consistently meet the commitments you make. If you feel that being a member is too big a commitment, you may apply to become a school ambassador here, as is it less commitment.
5. You must be respectful towards everyone in our team. Any forms of discrimination or bigotry are strictly prohibited, and will prompt a reevaluation of your status in our organization.
